STEPHANE MULLER
Stéphane Antoine Muller has been an enthusiastic and well-appreciated teacher and professor for over a decade. He began teaching in 1998 while still a graduate at Université de Provence in France. He received a Master in French from Universite de Provence (France) in 2000 and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in French and Spanish from Cambridge University (UK) in 2001. He completed a EdD in Education in 2006. After graduating, he taught French for a year in England at Bedford School. He then moved to Canada and taught at the United World College in Victoria, BC. He was then promoted Head of Department at Utahloy International School in Guangzhou, China. The National University of Singapore welcomed him in 2003. Eager to get closer to the US, he got lost in Bermuda and found himself teaching at Saltus Grammar School in 2004. Santa Monica became his new permanent base in July 2005. After having taught at Le Lycee Francais de Los Angeles, he joined Leuzinger High School in 2005 and Beverly Hills HS in 2006. He created an exclusive in-home tutoring company called Optimum Tutors when he arrived in California. He taught French at UCLA, LMU, El Camino College, SMC and was an assistant principal at Los Angeles County Online High School for the past 3 years. When not teaching and helping students being succcessful as the Director of Curriculum at HFHS, Dr. Muller likes to train for Ironman triathlon, travel (55 countries and counting), watch movies and have exquisite dinners with friends in the French tradition. He is happily married to Christine since August 8th 2007 and has a lovely 13 year old daughter called Vienna.
