THEOLOGY
Philosophy
The Humanities Department of Holy Family High School College Preparatory strives to integrate its program with the lives of its students, parents/guardians, staff, and others in the world. We recognize the special characteristics of “family” that exist among the priests of the parish, faculty, the students and their families uniting all peoples of God into one Body of Christ. Because of this sense of family, our courses focus on our relationships with God, the Church, others, and most importantly ourselves. We center and celebrate these relationships through prayer and liturgical experiences. We encourage the students to care for one another by recognizing and respecting their multi-cultural diversity. With the focus of the curriculum towards educating the whole woman: her heart as well as her intellect, we strive to enable the young women of Holy Family High School College Preparatory to realize, share and celebrate their gifts, while recognizing their responsibility for and connection with all of human life and creation.
