2011-2012 Catholic Education Foundation Deadlines:
The Catholic Education Foundation application is available online on our website and can also be picked up from Holy Family High School College Preparatory. If you will be handing in a hard copy and are currently attending Catholic School please turn in your application to Holy Family High School College Preparatory. For those of you who will be transferring from a public school, charter school or any other private school make sure your application is turned in to Holy Family High School College Preparatory in a sealed envelope.
Cycle 1 (Current 8th grade students in Catholic Schools)
September 15, 2011-October 31, 2011
Awarded on: December 1, 2011
Cycle 2 (Any 8th grade student and current transferring high school student)
November 1, 2011-January 30, 2012
Holy Family High School College Preparatory must turn in all non-electronic applications to CEF by January 30, 2012. In order to ensure that you receive funds we encourage all those applying to submit necessary paperwork to HFHSCP by January 13, 2012. For those submitting an online application, the same deadline applies. Please be aware that the online application goes directly to Holy Family High School College Preparatory.
Awarded on: March 1, 2012
Those granted an award must present the Catholic Education Foundation certificate to Holy Family High School College Preparatory by April 15, 2012. If the certificate is not turned in by the due date, funds will be withdrawn. All students must reapply annually.

Family Income Guidelines for all Tuition Award Programs:
FINANCIAL ELIGIBILITY
The annual gross income amounts indicated below are approximately 15% above the “Free” Federal School Lunch Program income guidelines.
A child from households with total incomes at or below the following levels is financially eligible for a CEF Tuition Award:

Definition of a Household:
Household means a group of related or non-related individuals who are living as one economic unit and are sharing living expenses. Living expenses include rent, clothes, food, doctor bills, utilities (electrical, gas, water) and the like.
Definition of a One-Member Household:
- household of one means a pupil who is his/her sole support
- Institutionalized children are always one-member households
- Foster children are one-member households only if the welfare/placement agency maintains legal responsibility for the child
