RETREATS
Holy Family High School College Preparatory offers its students a comprehensive retreat program designed to enrich the student’s spiritual needs and growth over her four years in high school.
Freshman Year
Twilight Retreat—an introduction to Holy Family High School, the freshman class and a trained group of older students prepared as mentors.
Day Retreat—a one-day, off-campus retreat experience designed around the theme of individual faith introspection and team/class unity building; led by same group of older students.
Sophomore Year
Day Retreat—a one-day, off-campus experience planned by 10th grade committees around themes of personal spiritual development, continued team/class unity building
Junior Year
Day Retreat—a one-day, off-campus experience planned by the class officers and directed by the small groups themselves; themed around personal spiritual development and needs of the class as identified by the students.
Overnight Retreat—overnight, off-campus experience that continues the themes of the day retreat, while encouraging the in-depth focus of the individual on personal spiritual development; this retreat also creates strong class unity.
Senior Year
KAIROS—a four-day, three-night, off-campus retreat that centers around an individual relationship with God, self and family; held in the fall.
KAIROS Reunion-an optional senior day in the spring, themed around personal development and friendship as experienced in the KAIROS retreat.
