"Go, do not be afraid, and Serve" - Pope Francis
As the BVM Sisters teach us at Holy Family, Charity is an essential and joyous part of Christian life. Our girls record their charitable acts in their Journals of Caring.
As we walk with our girls on their spiritual journey, we believe the opportunities below serve as a way for them to grow in faith, family, and friendship:
As Freshman, they will be spending 20 hours caring for their grade school.
As rising Sophomores, they will be spending 20 hours caring for and bringing joy to the elderly.
As rising Juniors, they will be spending 30 hours caring for the needs of the homeless (i.e. soup kitchen, food pantry).
As rising Seniors, they will be spending 30 hours caring for people directly at a non-profit of their choice. It is important for us that their good work be face-to-face with others.
