Performing Arts

Our Performing Arts programming seeks to engage our young women to think both creatively and critically. Through creation and exploration, our girls will have the opportunity to follow their curiosity, discover a new passion, acquire skills and gain insight into the arts that will enrich them in their Holy Family experience and beyond.
At Holy Family, we pursue the arts because it allows us to express, to connect, and because by doing it, we find joy. It gives the soul a space to breathe and the mind room to wander. Through our instrumental music, theater, dance, and choir programs, the young women at Holy Family find ways to elevate their confidence as they perform in the broader Los Angeles community.
The 2019 Spring Musical was The Marvelous Wonderettes, the story of four high school seniors and the Glee Club set in 1958 performing at their senior prom. This comical musical was performed for three nights in front of packed houses, with show creator and writer Roger Bean attending the closing night. The Marvelous Wonderettes is currently being performed Off-Broadway in New York, NY.
